One time I took a personality test and it told me my ideal career is photography. I couldn't agree more. I have the best time hying up a woman to feel beautiful and confident. Other times I am having a blast making the littles laugh with my silliness, and we can't forget giving praise to the men who don't care to be taking pictures! Connecting with people to make them feel good is my goal, because when you feel good, the pictures will be good!

How long have I been doing photography?
I have been doing photograph since 2011.
What kind of camera do you use?
Right now I use Canon. I also use a Contax 645 film camera.
What got me into photography?
Years ago I was a single mom wanting more for myself and my kids. My now husband/friend at the time told me I should do photography. So I study photography on my own for over a year. I bought my camera and didn't touch it for three months. I was afraid to fail. God gave me the courage, and I started my photography journey from there. God has blessed my journey every step of the way and now I am living my dream life meeting beautiful people and traveling to amazing places!
Do you travel for pictures?
I am always available to travel! I have been to Canada, New York, Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and Hawaii. Take me with you!
Do you mentor?
Absolutely! I offer several mentorship options. Come and learn from my years of experience and become a successful photographer!
Do you offer mini sessions?
Once year in the fall I offer mini sessions to everyone. These are booked for specific days and times. I always announce by email first, then social media. Minis are only booked for unicorn sessions, milestone sessions, and when you come to me multiple times in a year. Space is limited.

FAQ
How far out should I book?
It's always a good idea to inquire about what you are interested in. I schedule weddings up to one year in advance and sessions up 4-5 months in advance.
What should I wear to my session?
For my style of photography I prefer my clients in light or muted/pastel colors. Remember to consider movement, colors, and textures when choosing outfits! Blending colors is always better than matching. I am one call or text away from helping you!
Where will we take the photos?
I have variety of local places I love to take pictures at. I also have beautiful destination locations! Depending on what time of the year and kind of session, I will send you the best options available.
How many photos will I receive for a session?
I do not put a number on the amount of photos you will receive. It can be anywhere from 30-100 photos. I shoot until I feel I have captured it all and I give my clients all of the photos I take edited.
What do you edit in a photo?
Each photo I edit starts with cropping, if needed, and of course each images gets a color edit. I do use photoshop for things like taking something out of an image that doesn't belong, double chins, acne, or other insecurities. For sessions, I usually run each photo through photoshop. For weddings I choose a handful. If more extensive edits are desired an additional fee will be applied.
How long is a session?
Sessions are anywhere from one hour to two hours depending on location and how long it takes for my clients to warm up and feel comfortable.
Do you require a deposit?
Weddings and session do require a non-refundable deposit to save your date. Every session and wedding is different. I go over this with you upon booking.
